Everyone will need to do a 5-7-minute presentation on a pirate term/tactic of your choice, to be found in the book The Sea Rovers Practice that is on RESERVE at Hewes Library. Your goal is to teach the concept to your classmates so that they understand it, and you should be prepared to field questions from them about it. Although you may not mention them by name in your presentation, you will also need to incorporate information from 3 additional sources. One can be a course textbook, one can be a movie, and one you will need to find online (all three can be online sources, if you prefer). Keep in mind that you should not copy word for word from ANY of your sources; the rules of plagiarism still apply even for small papers. You will need to hand in your list of references, formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style.
